Margarita Madness is about Ye Mystic Krewe of Santa Margarita, Clearwater’s official parade Krewe, and their annual after the the Fun 'N Sun parade party which is open to all Tampa Bay Krewes and Clearwater VIPs.
The La Santa Margarita was a Spanish Galleon that sank during a hurricane in 1622, along with the Atocha and 6 other Spanish vessels. The name of our Krewe has nothing to do with the Mexican cocktail of the same name, but rather the history of the Spanish Galleon that sank off of Key West. However, the Krewe is also known for its Margarita Fountain that has been known to serve up that Mexican cocktail during adult social events.
The Krewe’s Margarita Madness is the after the Fun 'N Sun parade party that is open to all Tampa Bay Parade Krewes. The party is held at the Harborview Center in downtown Clearwater and is a night of food, drink, dancing to live music, casino games with valuable prizes, premium cigars available on the cigar deck, and comradeship. Come join us this year. This is a fund raising event for the Krewe's Foundation that supports local Clearwater charities.
There is reserved parking at the Harborview Center for all Tampa Bay Krewes. A shuttle service will begin at 4:30PM from behind the Coachman Park band shell in the Harborview Convention Center parking lot. The shuttle will take yopu from the parking lot to the staging area. The last shuttle out of the parking lot will be at 6:15PM.
